Amsterdam-based Sandrien has her skin in the game for over twenty years now, coupled with tons of experience playing a dynamic track selection ranging from deep and atmospheric sounds to high-energy breaks and acid-laced undercurrents as her inspiration is drawn from both old-school techno and more house oriented sounds. This made her a floor favorite all over her hometown and beyond. Throughout the years, she’s played at Lowlands, Dekmantel, Awakenings, Monument in Norway and Labyrinth in Japan with frequent club appearances at legendary spaces such as Berghain and Bassiani. As former resident for both De School as well as Trouw and one of the founders of Amsterdam’s Is Burning, her artistic expression is sculpted through years working in Amsterdam record stores, years that proved as a foundation by which she expanded her still-growing record collection and musical knowledge.
